Frequently Asked Questions

I want a tattoo from Caspian! How do I get started?

We look forward to working with you! Texting us at (434) 515-0536 is a great place to start. We can discuss size, placement, details, and limitations. Coming to the studio can also be beneficial if you’re a local. You can text or simply bring your design references to get help from an artist.  We can then book consultations, appointments, and price tattoos. Scheduled appointments require a deposit of $25 per hour booked plus a $10 booking fee per client, per session.

Deposits, Cancelations, and Rescheduling

-We require a $25 deposit per hour booked, plus a single $10 fee per client per appointment.  -The $25 per hour charge is applied to your tattoo payment.

-Your deposit will transfer one time if you give us 48 hours' notice before a missed

appointment. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.

-Deposits are not refundable.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Once you have spoken to an artist or customer service representative about your piece and you’re ready for your tattoo, you will need proper payment in the form of cash or card and a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, Military ID, etc). Make sure you have eaten and are hydrated. Never get tattooed on an empty stomach.

I’m a minor, has the policy changed?

Yes. We have discontinued tattooing services for minors. If you have already started a tattoo as a minor, you need to reach out directly to your artist to orchestrate the completion of your tattoo.

I live far away, can I still be tattooed at Caspian?

Yes. We have several clients who travel from out of town. Our artists are well-versed in preparing for your appointment before you arrive. Call (434) 237-1900 or text (434) 515-0536 to get more information, or take a look at our Artists' pages to contact an artist directly, via email or social media.

What will my tattoo cost?

Please text (434) 515-0536 to discuss pricing with our Customer Service Representatives. You may also stop by the studio to speak with our CSRs or artists in person and book an appointment or be taken as a walk-in.
